WeHo Pride 2025 Update: City of West Hollywood Announces Cara Delevingne as 2025 WeHo Pride Parade ‘Guardian Icon’

Additional Icons Nava Mau, Chris Kluwe, and Pari Kim Will Also Join the WeHo Pride Parade

The City of West Hollywood and WeHo Pride producer JJLA today announced that supermodel and actress Cara Delevingne, Emmy-nominated actress and filmmaker Nava Mau, Love on the Spectrum star Pari Kim, and former NFL player Chris Kluwe will serve as the 2025 WeHo Pride Parade Icons. WeHo Pride honors the four individuals for their work in bringing the LGBTQ+ community and social justice issues to the forefront, as well as expanding representation in pop culture.

“WeHo Pride is all about celebrating love, authenticity, and community, and we’re so excited about the participation of our four incredible WeHo Pride Parade Icons,” said City of West Hollywood Mayor Chelsea Lee Byers. “They’ve each made a big difference in popular culture by shining a light on LGBTQ+ voices, in pushing for social justice, and by helping more people feel seen. As we come together for the WeHo Pride Parade, it fills my heart that their work and presence will lift our message of LGBTQ+ inclusion and equality, and our vision for positive change in the world for LGBTQ+ people everywhere.”

Cara Delevingne, Guardian Icon – has been selected as the first-ever Guardian Icon for her commitment to LGBTQ+ and mental health advocacy. Delevingne has consistently used her platform to uplift marginalized voices and challenge societal norms. From redefining gender roles on the runway to candidly sharing her personal journey, she has become a generational icon for authenticity and change.

Nava Mau, Trailblazer Icon – is a fearless advocate for trans rights and LGBTQ+ equality in Hollywood and beyond. As the first-ever trans Latina to receive an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie and a BAFTA TV Awards nomination, the Baby Reindeer actress has become a pioneering force in entertainment, helping pave the way for other transgender individuals in the industry. As a multi-talented creative, Mau wrote, directed, produced, and starred in All The Words But The One, an acclaimed short film that screened at top festivals including The New Orleans Film Festival and HollyShorts Film Festival. The film will be available May 29 on Vimeo and Short of the Week’s YouTube Channel. Before her career in film and television, Nava spent eight years supporting immigrant and LGBTQ survivors of violence. Her work both on and off the screen has earned her honors from PFLAG national, the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, and Critics Choice Association.

Chris Kluwe, Ally Icon – is a former NFL player who was a Minnesota Vikings punter turned outspoken advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. Known for his unapologetic activism and unwavering belief that everyone deserves to live free from hate and oppression, Kluwe has continued to use his platform to push for equality.

Pari Kim, Next Gen Icon – has gained recognition for her unapologetic authenticity and passion for trains, while openly navigating her journey as a queer individual on the autism spectrum. Since her appearance on Season 3 of Netflix’s Love on the Spectrum, she has continued to share her love story with Tina Zhu Xi Caruso and her ongoing advocacy for LGBTQ+ and autism representation.
