Literary Death Match: Pride Edition
Literary Death Match: 4 authors, 3 judges, 2 finalists, 1 champion.
The City of West Hollywood’s 2026 WeHo Pride Arts Festival presents:
Literary Death Match: Pride Edition
Literary Death Match — part literary event, part comedy show, part game show — brings together four of today’s finest LGBTQ+ writers to read their own work, before being jovially critiqued by three all-star judges. They pick two readers to advance to the finals to compete in a vaguely literary game to decide the ultimate winner.
It's like one big literary hug during an era we could all use one. Expect big laughs, big talent, and a giant reminder of the illimitable power of books.
Judges: Steven Reigns, Melissa Chadburn, Rex Ogle.
Readers: Myriam Gurba, Mac Crane, Rasheed Newson, Isle McIlroy.
Host: Adrian Todd Zuniga.
Contains strong language, all sales are final, no late seating!
All WeHo Pride Arts Festival events are free to attend! If an event sells out, audiences who have RSVP'd will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.
